| Who’s "Robyn"? And Why "Helping"? Robyn Ashley is a beautiful and very special little girl, who was born on May 26, 2002 to myself, my husband, and her big sister Danielle. All funds from the sale of these cards & products go directly into an account for Robyn, who is a bright and precocious girl with a smile that lights up a room. Robyn was born with a very rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Ullrich Congenital MD. This inhibits the proper collagen production in her muscle tissue and affects her body’s strength & her ability to walk, jump, run, climb, sit up/down or do any transitioning on her own. Most children are in wheelchairs by her age, require oxygen at night from a ventilator, & are highly at risk for contractures (tightening of the joints/tendons in their knees, ankles, elbows & spine). “Hands Helping Robyn” came to be in 2005, because Robyn’s big sister wanted to sell her beautiful artwork, to help with the costs associated with Robyn’s new powered-wheelchair, special walker, and the many home aids needed to make Robyn comfortable and happy. Myself, Aarica Jane, added my photography from over the years to Danielle’s plan and began making these photo cards, calendars and other practical products. Some also exhibit special drawings the girls have done, & photo’s donated by family and friends. |
How to use this website:
All of my photography is broken down into collections according to subject or
theme. Each photo has a title. You can order cards one-by-one/mix & match, as a
set, in a set grouped by theme (ie: Florals, Tree's etc...) and more. Once you've
browsed through my collections and selected your favorite photo's, please go to the
Product Options page to see the card-stock & Envelope colors/choices that are
available, and as the prices. On the Order Page, you can then list the photo titles and
quantities you want, as well as the occasion - and I will call you to discuss/confirm
final details and personal touches. Discussion is key, because I want my products to
be custom, just for you!
